When preparing information cards for the cars coming to Ulster for the Tour it was pointed out to me that the figures I was using for the PBs didn't look to be correct. As I had taken them from the Profiles on this website I had assumed them to be correct but the figures given there are as follows: 408 two seater sports 99 four seater tourers 14 Airline Coupés 57 chassis only
These make a grand total of 578 but the printed Register listing says that PBs run from PB 0251 to 0776 inclusive (including the converted PAs)which would be only 526 cars. Can someone reconcile these two lots of data and say which is correct?
Thanks again, Peter. Maybe our P Type sub Registrar with his new database can shed some light on this but in the meantime our assumptions seem reasonable.
