PA 1024 came with a coffee can filled with bits.
I think the dome nuts are for the front apron?
Most of these are chromed other than the two black painted brackets. There were parts from Bentley in the bits and a prior owner had T types in the past. Any help much appreciated

Brian,

The large brackets are to secure the exhaust pipe to the chassis side rail

The pointed bolt may be to locate the LHS of the gearbox cross tube into the supporting casting within the chassis rail, although it looks a bit longer than usual - if I am right it does not require a nut

The square section items fix to the chassis rails and are threaded to receive a brake cable.

Think the large brackets are to hold the number plate backing plate to the rear cross tube. Don't look like exhaust brackets to me ,which are quite a thick right angle bracket.

I think the 2 short bolts on the left could be from the brake backplates - there is a blanking bolt in each backplate which have rather an odd, fine thread. The ones in your pic look to be quite a fine thread.

I did wonder whether the large brackets were for the rear numberplate mounting, but they look too large for that and don't have a locator hole or pip to align with the holes in the bottom of the rear cross tube.

Thanks for your ideas. as noted there is no locator for the nameplate bracket. They do appear though to be for this use? I have other items that I still don't know what they are and will ask for additional help with them too.

Kindly,
