It is with great pleasure that we can report that the MGCC's board of directors has unanimously agreed to award the Geoff Coles Trophy for member of the year to the Triple-M Register's Mark Dolton.
The award was presented to Mark at today's 120-strong Register Summer Gathering at Peter Green's home by Club Director George Wilder at a surprise ceremony also supported by Club Chairman Ian Quarrington.
The award was given in recognition of Mark's exceptional commitment and success in promoting the renaissance of Triple-M racing at Club events. Not content to rest on his laurels, Mark is continuing his efforts with the aim of achieving even larger grids in 2017 at MGCC and in VSCC and other events.
Hearty congratulations to Mark!
The Triple-M racers will be out next at Cadwell Park on Sunday 24th July in a head to head Triple-M vs Austin race - don't miss it!
Director George Wilder presents the Geoff Coles Trophy to Mark. Ian Quarrington joins in the applause.

Well what a lovely surprise, Thank you to the MGCC and all involved!
Clearly there is a team behind our success to date, so the award is for everyone that has been part of the racing revival over the last few years! Bigger and better to come!!

MARK AND TEAM....
EXCELLENT NEWS. Have fun at Cadwell.... The "Lorry" will not be there..... but good luck to all MMM Racers taking on the Austins. Be kind to Mark Elder in his Austin as he was the person who rescued me at Angouleme.....but that does not mean you have to let him beat you!

Congratulations on the award.
Look forward to racing at Cadwell next week.
Although the FOZ "Lorry" is not attending my Equivalent Lorry albeit a lot slower should be in the spectators car park.
Will mainly be of interest to POTS Dad.
