Having of course started the thread that Tony refers to, I would still be in the market for one of each of these forgings that are known to fail from time to time. If it does fail, it's a recovery job; you're not driving anywhere but of course they are so small they're easy to carry as spares.

I think it was you wasn't it Tony who had the failure in Moffat? Whether or not, had Kieran not been able to weld it up, trailing would have been the only option.

As Mike Dowley has said, he could make them, but would need a number of commitments. How about it guys? Email Mike that you'd like a pair and we might get off the ground!

Good idea, I'll have one too for the spares box. Are you watching this, Mike Dowley?

It was indeed me, Dave, who had the failure in Moffat, so yes, I'll have one!

I'll have one when available as mine is just a tad more worn than the one in that photo.

Here is a typical sad example in need of replacement.

Do these vary throughout our range of models? I'd want one for a P type, as mentioned above, having already replaced the gear lever four years ago. Logically, if the gear lever has failed, this item can't be far behind.

Yes, Colin, this fits a P, and the N I have. They are the same.
