The scene at the start of day 1 (I think).

My 'substitute MG' and Mrs C admiring a stunning beach showing the conditions of the morning of day 2 - which later cleared up nicely.

With renewed thanks to John Emmett and with his kind permission, here is a film clip of his drone filming of the cars as we gathered at Tregenna Castle Hotel on the evening of Tuesday 3 October:

Amongst those in shot, in addition to the ever-present Charlie Cartwright in his hi vis jacket you'll see Colin Butchers conversing with Nigel Watts - a former Register luminary!

Like Mr Butchers himself then who I believe filled the roles of Registrar, Secretary and Bulletin Editor at one time or another! |

Indeed I still have the letter that Colin sent me giving me my Register number for the J2 back in 1973.

I might have contributed a bit of nonsense from time to time for past Bulletins but I don't think I ever edited one - in fact I am certain that I didn't. It was delightful meeting up with Nigel Watts again after so many years and good that he was able to make the journey to The Tregenna Castle Hotel, all the way from Camborne ! He turned up on both the Tuesday and the Wednesday - accompanied each time by a different son and it is clear that his enthusiasm for MMM cars is as strong as ever. Marvellous.

I've uploaded some more pictures on the Facebook page. There will be some more coming on next week. Thank you to everyone who came on the Tour. It was a good week and I think we've broken even overall. I'll maybe do another onebefore too long.

Rather belatedly, but many thanks to Charlie and Ian for a fabulous tour on the roads built for slim horses! All your hard work paid off handsomely for the entrants and gave us many challenges as well as unimagined views and history unknown to many of us.
Does anyone know the breed of the shaggy cows in the "cows stopped play" picture?

As I wasn't there......I'm looking for a volunteer to pen words & pictures for Safety Fast. You have plenty of time as it will be for our next big spread in February. Any takers?

Rod Ptak is doing a piece for the bulletin, so it may need to be someone else![](images/icon_smile.gif)
