It would appear the car has already been sold!

As the advert showed L2045 had been owned by the vendor since 1965 and had a very active life. The car was featured in the March 2008 edition of MG Enthusiast Magazine.

I have spoken to the owner (who is a good friend of mine) of this L2 and he has asked me to write this:-
Unfortunately, this information is NOT correct. The L2 is for sale and is STILL for sale by the vendors who are Classic & Sportscar Centre, Malton, North Yorkshire. The link is >http://www.classicandsportscar.ltd.uk/MG-L2-Magna/classic-cars-for-sale/34642<
I would add that there is plenty of interest.

Update:- Just received call from owner advising that the L2 is now sold (in the last hour).
This car is fully sorted and really is very special.
