Does anyone have recommendations for an insurance broker that fully understands what and how insure a K3 modified from a K1, which obviously is totally different.
My current insurer of my other cars has asked me so many questions, that I am not sure they really understand ?

I use Hagerty and always found them to be helpful and understanding.

I have no connection, just a satisfied client.

One of the hidden bonuses of Hagerty's insurance is that they also include your trailer in the insurance.

Routen Chaplin do the VSCC policy and worked out quite a lot cheaper than Hagerty for me.

Thank you all for the advice. My current insurer RH is cheaper than Hagerty for my current Healey 100 and Xk120. But Hagerty were nearly half the price for a quote on a K1/K3 potential purchase. So, at the moment it looks like it may be two different policy’s

In comparing insurance policies I would look very carefully on how they treat total loss eg for fire and their breakdown performance, particularly if going abroad. On balance I found that Hagerty gave me the best package. A satisfied customer with no other connection.

I would just add that Peter S. Taylor has sponsored the Vintage Minor Register and our rallies for many years and I currently have my Semi-sports insured with them. I would highly recommend them.
