I'm trying to source a pair of windscreen fitting wind deflectors for my J2 and would be grateful for any info. I know that Vintage Supplies stock them but I'm unsure if these would fit. Any one have any experince of these?

I have a pair of deflectors on my NB. I bought these from the Moss Motors stand at Silverstone a few years ago. They will fit the P types, N Types and T types because the rear facing part of the windscreen upright is like the leg of an L and is perhaps 1/8 of an inch thick. However, the J/F/L windscreens do not have this shape and the deflectors would not fit the upright which is 7/16's of an inch thick and therefore too thick for the brackets used to secure the wind deflector to the windscreen

Hope the foregong makes sense!

George,
How effective do you find the deflectors and do they foul the standard Lucas side mirors?

Hi Gordon

I find the deflectors do help and they do not intefere with the standard Lucas rear view mirror mounted on the windscreen upright.

I also think the deflectors look period!
