The manufacture of the new gears for the Wolseley four speed gearbox is progressing well. All those who have placed orders will have received a more detailed update of progress.

To supplement this, here are some photos taken on 13th July 2022 of work in progress at Neve Engineering. Most of the blanks have been made and work is starting on cutting the gear teeth.

I have acquired a four speed Morris type 74 gearbox. If these new gears are compatible with a type 74 then I am presuming there could be some used gears going after people have rebuilt their gearboxes. I was too late to benefit from this manufacturing batch but I am hoping I might be able to find some used gears that still have some life in them too keep me going until the next batch is made. I would be interested to hear if this is an option.
