Just found the attached link to the RM Sotherby's auction to be held 22/24th September. What a nice collection of cars!

The estimates for the various MGs on offer look to be high?

I would accept £100,000 for my excellent NB!!!
Just think of the saving on transport and duty....

And with the pound have fallen from $1.25 to $1.14 in a matter of days, and the horrendouus internal US transport charges to move them to Houston Port, the chance of getting any of these lovely MGs home, has rapidly receeded since Gene first annouced to me he would sell the collection (by auction only, alas) back in March.
Let's hope the new owners use them and don't just store them away. The US MMM Register is very active, so let's hope so.
Yours, Barry Walker.

And, to be honest, if you go through the listings, car by car, you will be shocked at the low percentage of cars that represent the unmodified original condition.

The results of the auction are now available. The two supercharged NB 2 seaters sold for $71000 which would seem to be about par, the slab tank K3 copy was about $103000 and the pointed tail one over $200000.

Interesting viewing with lots of memorabilia and quite a few MGs including several much modified T types.

Forgot to mention the rare Allingham bodied N also made about $71000.
