Looking at the results of the Sotheby Ponder auction / 1936 NB supercharged $71500, Allingham $71500, TD cars around $49000, TC cars $44000, 1936 NB $71500, all in pristine condition.. Pity the USA is so far away. |

The hammer price for the N-types was $65K each, the results show the price including the 10% commission. What was interesting was that one buyer snagged a few of the M.G.s, methinks it was likely a dealer. |

My guess is that the 3 N types went to one bidder, hence the same bid on all three?
The market for pre-war cars appears to have declined slightly and as such the Ns look good value at $65000 each. There were only 98 NB 2 seaters built and the Allingham is very rare, I know of 3 surviving cars out of a possible 16 built. The latest printed Register lists only 14 cars as 2 seaters.

The two seaters I refer to are of course the NBs.
