Bruce Sutherland has worked his magic and made the drawing of the dipsticks used in the N type and the later PA/PB models originally drawn by John Reid much clearer. It is available from Document downloads|Technical|engine.
Thank you Bruce.

Oh, great! I just finished calibrating my NA dispstick not two days ago. Not having a diagram, I poured a quart in at a time and marked the stick as I went. I made my own dipstick, so it had no markings.

Nick, Thank you.
Lew, I'd be interested to know how your N Type dipstick calibration compares to that in the drawing? Whilst cross-checking the re-drawing of the dipstick, I found that that in my PB was for an N Type - now corrected to suit.

I’ll have to check, Bruce. However, after I added the first two quarts, I found I had stupidly left the oil temp port fitting out, so my markings were a best guess.

I have checked my home made NA dipstick against Bruce’s drawing and find that the overall dimensions and the full mark are almost exactly the same.
