Here's another very good reason for buying the 'Automobile' Magazine.
The June edition showcases the Potter C type (C0253) in an 8 page feature - a really good read!

After some difficulty tracking down a copy of this magazine, I was reading through the article on the C type MG last evening when I realised that this was the car that was previously owned by the late Ron Grant.
I remember going over to Ron’s in Stockport shortly after he had acquired the car. He was understandably over the moon , a dream come true. He talked about his plans to restore the C type and it was so sad that he was never able to carry them out.

The Automobile magazine is hard to find in the shops. I bought an annual subscription.
It is in my opinion the best one for articles on prewar cars. The only other car mag I buy is Octane. Unfortunately all the other so called classic car type magazines, seem to regurgitate similar boring articles every few years.
