Has anyone recently purchased any of the 0.5mm galvanised steel sheet with the correct "spangled pattern " finish used for covering the J type firewall.
I have to make some firewalls and am having trouble locating galvanised sheet with this correct finish. The last stockist I used about 5 years ago and a number of others I tried today no longer keep it.Please E mail me on tholden@supanet.com if you have any ideas.

Steve Gilbert produces the firewalls at a very reasonable price.

In the US, I have gone to a heating and cooling parts stockist and asked for furnace plenum tops. They happen to be 26" X 26", just the right size to laminate and cut new firewalls. Usually, if I ask nicely, they will let me sort through their stock to find just the right pattern.
