With great sadness I report the death, after a long illness, of Rosemary Kidder, widow of John, who was for many years our main technical advisor. She died peacefully in hospital on 23 August.
Rosemary was John's support and help, indeed we have her efforts to thank for the wonderful Whaley Bridge spring time meetings, and theur successors, which were often followed by a tea party at her home. She and John always enjoyed "a bit of a do", and I feel priviledged to have been counted among their friends.
Rosemary's son, David, will continue to look after their two N-types, and we will look forward to welcoming he and Louise into the fold as soon as things have settled down, and when they are ready.
