Does anyone know the provenance of the drawings below?

The first appears genuine though not terribly accurate (the work of an apprentice perhaps?). Surely a 'Carbodies ' drawing would be more telling? It is signed and dated as traced by " D.A.McDonald 15-8-64". Does anybody know D.A. McDonald or the history of this drawing?

The plan/sketch below is being passed off and sold at a premium as a 'factory drawing.' It looks like it was done in the late 1960's or 1970's and though it shows condiderable effort is clearly niether professional nor accurate.Does anyone know who drew this and what the real story is?

Has anyone seen any genuine working drawings of an M-type MG body?

Sam

I have the lower set of plans - used them in 1969 to create my M-type body.
They seemed to work OK for measurements etc.
They are, if I remember 1/4 scale - looking at them you do not realise how small an M body is!
Can't remember, now, where they came from.
I have had a look at them and there is no sign of provenance & I certainly didn't pay for them.
