Does anyone know anything about the paint or painting techniques used on the pre-war MG’s? What have you been using? Base coat/clear coat or single stage? I don’t want to “over” restore the car as I’ve seen way too many cars that were and while they look fantastic, I’d like to be a little more original. Any good books or websites for reference would be great also.
