Hi,greetings to all, does anybody, have a rough figure on how many L types still exist in a substantially complete condition, I think Australia has about 12. regards Peter. |

From looking at the 2009 mmm register, if I can still count as follows
L1 listed with chassis numbers 135 L1 no chassis number listed 6 Included in above 16 listed in Australia L2 47 listed with chassis numbers incl. 2 in Aus
If you wish i could scan and email the full list from the register

Hi Ross,thanks for that number, I just wanted some idea of the survival rate, I have seen a couple of these aust cars that are listed and it would take a miracle to make them a car again, ie one was a bare chassis horribly chopped at the front & rear and nothing else included, that is why I approximated at 12 substantially complete cars that are going or could reasonably be made a goer in australia, thanks for the info, regards Peter |

Don't forget the L1 chassis used for the Musketeers! COMP/N/3 survives and I am working on it right now.
