I was just starting to reassemble my steering box when I noticed that the worm is loose on the splines. What is the remedy for this and where is the best place to get help?
MG Classics Ltd is listed in the suppliers list but the telephone number is one digit short and neither the BT directory enquiries site nor Google recognise them. 01760 720XXX numbers apply to Swaffham near Kings Lynn. Does anyone have any information?
I have received advice on that problem and have a plan in mind but what I really need is a replacemant worm. I have delayed assembling the unit for about 2 yrs in the hope of getting a new one and finally decided to reuse the original but the more I see of it the more I am convinced that it should be replaced. Does anyone know of a new or reuseable secondhand one? Either MMM or T-Type wil do.
