A friend of mine has a 1935 MG PA registered 02/02/1935 which is on the road. Registration number BKX 167. Chassis no. 1757 PA
Original engine no. 2020AP, this has been replaced.
Following the MOT the DVLA are querying the engine no. The new number appears to be 964?6 the number between the 4 & 6 is obliterated by what appears to be a weld.

Can anyone help?
Ideas or suggestions please
Bob
