Hi all, could not resist the temptation to show and tell .I have owned it for 35 years in bits and rebuilt it over the last 3years Yesterday it got an mot, now i just need to persuade dvlc to give me back the 1936 regd no. Under that 1952 alloy body it really is all N type apart from a couple of 1950s mods that I have left.Hopefully it will be seen around this summer .Insanely proudly Geoff godwin. yes it does still have a full N chassis engine g/box etc the look of the ace is obvious but it pre dates the ace by 3 years the barrchata look is easily explained the makers of the body, williams and pritchard also built at the same time the body for john willments ferrari 01C chassis the first into uk a bit of cross fertilization I think geoff |

Well done , George.
Never mind what the purists might say, this is a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of Triple-M motoring during the wilderness years when no-one would give tuppence for them!
Best wishes Dick |

Hi George
Fascinating looking car! Looks very like a Ferrari Barchetta.
Does the car still retain the original chassis and what is the chassis number? Our Registrar Robin Hamblett will be interested in the details.
Hope you enjoy the car this summer.
Regards

Geoff Fantastic! good to see a car in honour of it's complete history. I like the look and would love to see it IRL once.

Geoff,
Don't worry what others may think. If you are happy with it which I know you are, that's all that matters. I think it has a lot of charm and I bet it goes good to. Looks like an AC ACE to me.

Dick, I don't know where you did your shopping in the "wilderness years", but I could never find an N type for tuppence despite looking. My own NA JB 9518 cost me all of fifteen quid in 1970, so obviously. I was stitched up like a kipper !
