| Got home last night after a gruelling day in farthest Kent and turned on the "idiots lantern" to see what the rest of the world had been up to. Flicking round the Channels (as you do) I caught the last few minutes of a programme called Classic Car Club. There I found images of a field full of M.G.s and the presenter, Tony Mason, the world famous former rally navigator (to the late Roger Clark) riding about in Dick Morbey's PA with the owner grinning away in the back-ground. Tony Mason said that the first car he owned was a PA, although for some unstated reason he only kept it for a few months. Did you get the chassis or Registration Number, Dick ? |

That's interesting Colin! I remember the occasion - it was at an AWC event at Abingdon a few years ago and in fact the grinning owner was me and I was driving the jolly car!
I keep hearing about this piece of TV infamy but have yet to see it for myself
