Does anyone have a sample or photo of a K-Type Tourer/Saloon front wing stay? I have trouble with the front wheels hitting the stays sometimes and bending or breaking them. I am not sure if what I have got are original. Before I think about modifying them I would like to have a look at some others for reference.
Perhaps among all the K3 rep builders there may be a spare set knocking about.
Well I am running 500x19s but they caught on the stays just as often when I was on 475/500s. Also the stays that I have appear a bit Heath-Robinson. I have noticed in the past that K1s have a normal tubular stay but some KNs do have a kind of angle iron version similar to mine. So I am just looking at the best options.
