Here are some pictures of UF8475 when I owned in the early 1950's. seeing as how previous owners shared their pictures of BPX 709, I thought I would reciprocate and share my photos. I would love to hear from the current owner and share some tales of its history. I bought M type in August 1951 for 90 pounds . It was only 19 years old (I was 21)and in very good shape but was under powered and sluggish. On my way to the Farnborough Air Show, I blew the head gasket between 2 and 3 and limped her back home on two cylinders. Upon taking the head off, I discovered the timing was one tooth off. I replaced the gasket, did the valves and she ran great after that. I sold the car in April 1952 when I bought a J2 JJ6063 which now resides in Vancouver, BC and is owned by a good friend who imported in the mid sixties.

Great pictures Pat, I wonder if UF8475 is still 'alive'!

Hi Pat

I am afraid neither of your old cars appear in the 2012 printed Triple-M Register.

It could be that our Registrar Robin Hamblett has some info, he will probably be able to identify the chassis numbers.

UF8475 was on the 1982 Register as 2M3187 belonging to an S C Rutland with an aluminium body - the car not the owner, I suppose.
It was also still there on the 1986 version - but it has since been culled from the register list.
So it might still be out there somewhere

This car must still be about. It would be really great to find out what has become of it. Thanks for sharing the pictures too.
