I am in the middle of rebuilding an NA with an NE body & in need of some pictures to give me guidance. In particular I'm looking for ones of the dash & dials, front lights & brackets & wing brackets. If any one could be of help it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks Mark Piercy |

Mark,
If it is an NE layout you are looking for, I would suggest you contact Pete Thelander at pthelander@earthlink.net. He has an original NE and is always willing to lend a hand. If it's an NA layout you are looking for, someone in the UK may be a better bet.
Cheers,

Mark,
I have some pictures of the dash that was fitted in the car (NA 0253) that Peter Cranage built many years ago. This car was fitted with the original NE body off my NE (NA 0522) and has the original dash fitted. The pictures show the position of all the instruments and switches. I also have one original wingstay and the bracket which went from the wing stay to the radiator. The headlight brackets were either early M type or ones very similar.
If you would like me to e-mail you the dash pictures and ones of the wing stay please let me know.

Lew/Peter - many thanks for the information. I've been in touch with Pete Thelander & he is also sending me some information. Peter - I would be very grateful if you could email me any pictures to mark@central-auto.co.uk. I'm now wondering which dash is in the car now as it doesn't fit properly & some of the switches & holes for switches don't look correct...
Many thanks Mark piercy |

Mark,
From what you say I deduce that you might be the new owner of the car I mentioned in my earlier reply, if so I can assure you that the dash is the original one from my car. You will find that the holes for the instruments appear to be to large, this is because the instruments fitted at present are standard 2ins dia,(the octaginal bezels fitted at present are used to cover the larger hole) the NE originally had instruments that were slightly larger dia. I still have the original instruments as they were transfered when the body on my car was changed.
You mention that the dash does not fit very well, it never did fit close to the bodywork.
If I can be of any more help please let me know.
