Can anyone tell me which supercharger this is please?

Shorrock C75 by the look of it. If its 81/2" diameter it's a shorrock 142.

Sam it looks like a Shorrocks 75 to me and identical to one I sold about 25 years ago to a guy in Northern Ireland.

It could well be the same guy. Thanks for the speedy answers.

I know it is a delicate question but has anyone any ideas about the current fair price/ going rate for one of these in reasonable condition?

Hi Sam

Certainly looks like the belt driven Shorrock C75 that a friend of mine has fitted to his XPAG engined TA.

Judging by the prices asked for Volumex super chargers the Shorrock must be worth £750? The Shorrock is a vane type and relies on total loss oil supply, as I found out in the distant past the vane supercharger can easily be damaged if the oil supply is not right.

Thanks George, the price tag sounds realistic to me though I have no experience of supercharging. I will inform the current owner who is considering putting it on the market.
