Hi Peter,

Sorry to hijack your topic, but I couldn't help noticing that the dealer that supplied your PB, is one that I haven't come across in my research. Do you know whereabouts in Yorkshire they operated from? If you have no objections, I would like to add your car's details to the spreadsheet I am compiling, but do you also happen to know the name of the distributing dealer that upheld the guarantee?

I wish you luck in your search for information.

Thanks

Matthew

Works files say Abbott and Mundy of Exeter were the main agent...

I was given the origination information by Robin Hamblett last year. The UK plates were on the car when I purchased it in NYC in 1959. The previous owner at that time I believe was Mr. Belcher, 71 Haslemere Ave., Hanwell N. 7 (this came from a Toulmin Motors service invoice).

Dick:

the invoice clearly states N.7 (typed out) - but that was 1957 - any possibility that there have been changes in the designation since then. I did have problems when I tried to locate that address now.

According to my London A t Z, Haslemere Avenue is mostly in W13 district, only one end in W7. Just off Boston Manor Road between Hanwell and Little Ealing. Don't suppose that helps!!
