Hi , I have been wondering about my PB 0771 basically how many more where built after it? Does anyone have this information. If you could help it would just be nice to know. Thanks Kevin.

Kevin, Barry Walkers site states that 526 PBs were built starting with Chassis Number PB-0251 through to PB-0776. So the answer would appear to be 5 more.

My list ends at PB 0775, so make that 4 more.

Interesting any reason they started at 0251??
Our car 0601 was one of about 20 converted from a PA by the factory. I thought therefore they might be early PB's, but number suggests later. Maybe they ran out of stock and did a quick conversion!!! Anyone know more about these converted cars?
Graham H do you have more info on yours?

Folklore suggests that 251 was selected as this was also the Factory's telephone number.

I think it was more a question of the PA not selling!

I believe that when the PB was introduced, there were a number of PA chassis in various stages of build or completed waiting to be dispatched. It was convenient to simply convert them at that time. There were, after all, only 28 to be done.

Mark. Yes PB0602 ( which often sits in the paddock next to your 0601,but that's the only time it gets near it! ) is also a converted car. Here is the factory record sheet, 22 converted cars. Sorry for poor quality,I could not upload my scan ( pdf file ) only this photo ! Graham H
