This year the Brooklands 'MG Era' day is taking place on Sunday 12th April.

After much enquiring I have eventually discovered that Brooklands will be placing MGAs in the inner and outer paddock - in honour of the 60th anniversary of this (juvenile) model.

I am currently trying to get a dedicated area for Triple-M cars and the organisers need an indication of numbers.

Would you please reply to this thread to say yes or no?

Thanks
Dick

I will be there with the 2014 "Car of the Show" ! My PA BGH 295 - looking slightly less pristine than it did last year.

An update:

Triple-M cars have now been allocated the grassed area behind the Campbell Shed as per the plan below.

According to Brooklands, "marshals will be directing traffic from the bottom of Test Hill and they all have the site parking plans so Triple M cars will be directed to the Campbell Lawn to enable us all to park together on the day".

I hope the stewards can tell the difference between Triple-M cars and T types!!
Vintage M.G.s will be between the BP pagoda and the Clubhouse

John, I can't pretend that discussions with Brooklands have been all that helpful either. They appear determined to 'improve' the event and neither the MGCC nor the MGOC have had any nvolvement in the placement of cars, as far as I can gather.

Hopefully the marshalls will have a Observer's book of MG cars to guide them?

At least the Vintage boys will be slightly better placed than us Triple-Mers!

As suspected one T type, a TC at that, in position first thing, David pushed it out under the sheds, then another one appeared later on. Hey-ho that's life, ignorance is bliss.
More than one person asked why the vintage and Triple-M weren't in the paddock.

John, because it was the MGA 60th Anniversary. Seems fair enough to me.
Good day out and met some MMM friends.
This R type recreation was interesting, as was the creator.
