Hello Gents,

I've bought Colin Tieche's old J2. Bringing it back to Blighty.

Looking quite forwards to driving it around London if you don't mind. Done a few bits in the day it seems via this link. I know it's got the wrong wings etc but they all have a story and this one is a good'n and very usable!

Hi Perry

Firstly welcome top the Triple-M web site - the source of an amazing amount of info on our ohc MGs.

You may be aware we have a Yearbook and also a Bulletin - the subscription application form for the latter is in the Documents Download section.

Well done on purchasing the J2, Colin and his late father were well known for the quality of their rebuilds. I am sure you will really enjoy driving the car!

Hi Perry
I am intrigued by your username KR200 - just idle curiosity. I have a KR200 as well as a J2, but the KR200 has one fewer wheels!

Hello Nigel,

How queer. Yes I have a '63 Kabriolett.

I like eclectic machines! Sold my Peels/Scootacars etc. Also sold my 12/4 Special. But the prewar itch needed to be scratched so cue J2..

Oh and thank you George for your warm welcome. I intend to sign up as soon as I get the car.

Colin owned it for 30 years and I understand the motor has some positive mods like a Phoenix crank and P rods.

Can report I now have the car and it's quite excellent. Drives well and is solid and totally "together".

The quality of Colin's work from '79 is spectacular. The patina is very pleasing.

Just need to perfect my double de-clutching skills!
