Here here. As a newcomer to the world of Triple M I would love to see an article on gearbox ratios, diff ratios, how appropriate they are and in particular what gears are available and where from.

There is a very good article about MMM gear ratios written by Mike Allison titled "Gear Ratios: A study in steps" in the Triple-M yearbook of 1998. Contact Charlie Hayter to purchase a copy through the Triple-M register.

I have read Mike Allison's article and agree with you that it is very good. He tells me that I should not change my diff ratio but should do something about the huge gap between second and third in my PA box. What I am really interested in is the 'What is available, where from and at what cost.'
