This is a scan of a photocopy that I found within the information folder of my J2, that I purchased just over a year ago.
I believe that the photograph was taken in Birmingham. Exactly when I cannot say.Does anyone have any relevant information concerning this car?
Thanks,
Graham.

Graham, I have added the pictures to the Register's database entry for your car - alas I have no info about the location, but I think you do know something of the previous ownership trail - including the names of W.G. Nicholls, D. Gilbert before more recent times?

John Emmett is the sub-registrar for the J2s so he may have some further clues in the paper records that he has for your car ....

My friend in Exeter, Duncan Gilbert owned the car. It was purchased in bits on 18th September 1992 and was rebuilt by him.
Chassis J 3596, engine number 2524 AJ, (Which he says in an M type engine block. Not sure what the J is if that the case! 2524A was in 2M2752 a 2 seater with a build date of 13th April 1931.)
Bonnet hinge 3596 BK. (So the original colour was Black!)
Front main bearing housing 177002C.
Bottom part of bell housing 187958A
Hope this helps!

First registered owner was Miss Peggy Rickett of 16 Swanshurst Lane in Birmingham on 30th Sept 1933, supplied by P.J.Evans in Birmingham.
Then the car was recorded as having had accident repairs at the Factory sometime in 1934.
