I have an original photo of MG reg number NJ 3328, taken in Chetwode Road, SW London, possibly in the 1930s. I do not know the model or if it survives.

Looks to me like a P with the octagonal panel moved in to the centre in place of the rhombic one, in order to allow fitting a glove box on the left. FWIW, DVLA doesn't recognise it.

PA0573, first owner Miss M.M. Blathwayt. Took part in the 1934 Brighton to Beer Trial. Looks like a non-survivor.
Cheers, Cat

Margaret Blathwayt was more usually known as Peggy and she was entered in the 1934 Brighton - Beer Trial as Miss P Blathwayt. She went on to marry J C (Jim) Elwes of The Cresta Motor Company in Worthing, West Sussex and had a number of competition outings in the pair of J4s owned by the company, J4003 and J4004.

I had to look up 'Mignonette' on the internet and found these two consecutive links -
The Story of the Mignonette – Maritime Views www.maritimeviews.co.uk/focus-on-falmouth/the... Bail for the Mignonette Crew In the year 1884 the country was horror stricken by the recital of a story of cannibalism at sea. The yacht sunk at sea, and the crew, after being in an open boat nineteen days and nights without provisions, cast lots among themselves as to who should be killed to afford the others sustenance. It fell to the lot of ...
