I have tried to ask about the L engine but the phone number has changed. The contact is Steve at Thornfalcon Motors Taunton who was building an L special and had a spare engine. This was a few years ago but he did work slowly.... Maybe you can contact him direct... Mr Google might help. If I am in the area I shall pop in...

I have bumped into Steve, the person who used to have a spare engine with his L project racer.

He hasn’t any more but does have lots of spares including a head that he has had pressure tested and knows is sound.

Give me a shout and I will give you his email
He and his bits are near Taunton.
