The registration number is not currently working on the DVLA website.
The tail appears to have received a similar manx treatment to my Daughter's car.

I think you will find that it is VX 9768.

There was a pic of it on the MG Enthusiasts website with the caption "Les Hurlock's M-type in Suffolk in the early 50's."

Apparently it went to India and was on a Tea plantation. I kid you not.
I do not claim to understand the story or the sequence though.

James is James Warren who had Tea gardens in Assam
