That's some serious work to recover a block - and it's neither original to the car nor even correct for it.

Some serious overstatement by the auction house on just how good this J2 is. There is such an incredible amount of detailing which is so wrong, and I am not referring to the engine.

Not a good example of a correct J2 by far!

Yes, but what HAVE they done to this engine? Looks like they have chopped out the entire cylinder block from its crankcase and fabricated a new assembly in some way with water jacket welded on? Clever stuff but costly. Simon C.
