Hello all, My car N902 raced in the early 50s with its very distinctive body style .It raced as far as I can tell under the auspices of the West Essex cc. I have a record of it at snetterton in April 1953 including a rather poor photo which describes it as an NE magnette [I wish]. It is back at snetterton in late May ,again driven by H J Nicholls. As car is rather distinctive for an N I wonder if anybody with programs of the period or copies of Autosport or The Autocar from the early 50s may spot it. The only copies I have are both April 17th 1953, and a May snetterton program. Any stuff on either H J Nicholls or NJ 7843 or N902 would be brilliant. cheers Geoff

George, I certainly found under the cars section many triple mmm cars including J2 J3, J4, and I even found my cousin who did one race in a lotus 7. Ralph

George

I wonder if the information could be found in the Motor Sport magazine? I believe old issues of the magazine have been put on CDs?

The alternative would be Autsport but I am not too sure they were in existence in the early 1950s.

George,

I think Autosport was first published in 1950.

Peter.

I have a copy of autosport and a copy of the autocar ,both dated 17th April 1953.They both carry the very fuzzy picture of n902 at snetterton. What I hope for is that someone out there has other copies of around that date which may contain some reference to the car or driver.cheers Geoff
