I have made a mistake in the reg. No. in the request for the trials history. That was for my very first car a J2,which was broken up in 1958. It is for AVP 342 I need the information. There was a Photo in Safety Fast In June 1999 showing AVP342 entered in the SUNBAC ColmoreTrophy trial in 1936. Any help will be much appreciated.

There was an A. J. Lambert that trialled an 847 cc Midget in the '35 Exeter, and the '36, Edinburgh, Lands End, July, Sporting and the Colmore trials and being quite successful. Premiers in all but the Sporting when a Bronze, and the Colmore when a Silver.
It is recorded that in the February Colmore and the July rally the car(s) were supercharged.
I do not have records that says that the same car was used on each event.
There were C.P., and J.F.Lambert, but they drove Austin, and Singer respectively.
"VP" is Birmingham B and the records were destroyed, however it is likely that he came from that area.
Cheers, Mike
