The name of the person in the photograph is Dave Wilmot. He was a friend who was also into A7s. His brother had a J2. I have lost touch with Dave.

Sorry, Orstin is in the deepest darkest sub-continent and not keeping up to date. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Austin 7 special without doubt. Could be a 'Cambridge' but without seeing the tail (and with the connection I have here) i am not more able to comment further. The whole 'special' thing was a big thing in the 50's and 60's so it could equally have been a commercially available body or home made - neither would surprise me...
