In the picture is Jane Metcalf receiving the Mary Harris trophy from MGCC chairman Ian Quarrington.
This trophy is awarded annually to the winner on handicap of the principal triple-M register race in our competition calendar. this year the register had a pair of back-to-back races at the Indy circuit of brands Hatch in Kent, an MGCC race meeting. A fantastic event, supremely well organised by Mark Dolton and very well supported with a 23 car grid and a bumper attendance by many triple-M enthusiastsincluding a significant contingent of our Dutch friends.
Others in the picture from left to right include David Cooksey, and to his left Colin Murrell, a regular contributor to this forum, now the owner of a D type and an ace photographer. I'm sure we can expect to see many more of his pictures of the event soon!

Thank you too Dick - I fell asleep as soon as I'd posted the photo. We've not seen MMM racing like that since the 80s or earlier, someone even sorted the sunshine as well!
