Hello, all.
Could any of our members recommend a supplier of a good quality interior car cover ?
It is required for a slab tank version of a K3 MG so it would need to be taylor made.
Thank you,
Chris. |

Moss do an indoor cover for the TC. I have one that I've used on the PB . A little big but not bad. |

Realise that this is slightly off subject, but I have a Carcoon Evolution 4m x 1.5m x 1.5m which I bought some time ago and have only used a couple of times.
Dug it out this morning and checked it over. Everything works, both fans and all zips are fine.
Asking £100 plus postage . As it's a bit bulky when packed, suggest buyer may prefer to collect. (And yes, I know the garage needs tidying!

Thanks for your reply, Graham.
Prefer a tailor made or bespoke cover really but will certainly keep Moss in mind.
Thanks also Dick, fortunately it wasn’t what I wanted !!

I am surprised that a small cotton car cover has not been tailored for J's or P's. The TC cover is really much too big. A nice indoor dust cover would be great . Nothing available in the States, but I would buy two if anyone in the UK wishes to get into the project. Once the pattern is made it should not be complex. I have a a lightweight cotton cover for my M type . It was made in the UK and has a large MG logo on the front. Very small, just covers the M type with the top down.

Thanks, Mike.
I am now wondering what other MMM owners are using to cover their cars and how many are also requiring a decent cover.

Mine are covered with dust and bat droppings that require regular drives to clear. |

What is the advantage of a tailored cover over one which is a loose fit?

Aesthetics don't play a big part in my motor house. I just use a couple of old sheets.

I didn't respond earlier since I believed the wish was to obtain a cover in the UK. However, since Mile L. stated that there was nothing available in the US, I have to disagree. I had a custom cover made for my Airline Coupe by The California Car Cover folks. I had to supply some detailed dimensions, but in about 2 weeks, I had a very nice, perfectly fitting cover. You do have to talk with them, as the MGs are not listed on their site, but they will make nearly anything. https://www.calcarcover.com/

Thanks Lew.(Big fan of the Airline by the way.) I had one of the reproduction bodies that were made some years ago but at the time didn’t have a suitable MG to put it on !
I will have to search further in the U.K. I didn’t think it would be this difficult to find a supplier l must admit.
