No problem, Colin. My understanding is that the long standing common travel area covering Britain and Ireland will continue so you’ll be able to come not only to Norn Iron but to the ‘Free State’ as well ![](images/icon_smile_big.gif)

Hello Simon, All I can say some months ago Walter Kallenberg drew the committee’s attention to the event and wondered whether some form of triple-M group might be established to take part in it. I am not aware this has been progressed in anyway. I’m out and about at the moment so cannot readily access information about the EEOTY but will do so later and add a further comment.
Any news on this, Dick?

Simon, if it helps, the EEOTY Germany is I believe 5th-9th August and I suspect that the Luxembourg MMM event will be the weekend before that.

Thanks, Colin. We're thinking of mid May so no clash there then.

Simon should you not wait to see if anyone comes up with suggestions for other NEW parts of the UK rather than repeating previous tours ? We have not yet done for example Dorset or the South East ( Kent ) or Somerset or Devon all of which would provide excellent driving roads and good places to visit.

I agree, Terry, and when it comes England’s turn in 2021 these sound like good destinations ![](images/icon_smile_big.gif)
Simon J J3437 P.S. I’m not planning to repeat the 2016 tour - there’s lots more to see in Norn Iron! |

Twrry. I hate to correct you but some years ago we organised a MMM rally based in Sherborne (Dorset) which traversed both Someerset and dorset. We also organised one based at Exford on Exmoor which took us into both Somerset and Devon. Many MMM'ers enjoy an annual 100 mile drive in Dorset and Somerset when they take part in the kimber Classic trial. Next event April 13th, 2019. We have never had an event in the Lake District. I do have the full details and route book for an event organised by the Singer Club. If anyone up that way wouldlike to take it on they are welcome to it. Best wishes, Alan |

Alan, sorry to correct you. "We have never had an event in the Lake District...." I think we have, or did I dream it? No, we definately did, I'm still drying out![](images/icon_smile_big.gif) Terry

Terry is being modest as it was a wonderful event - the last of the "Flat Caps" - very well organised by him, Bob Walker & wifes. |

Please refer to the topic 'Welsh Hills Tour 2019' in General Information for the dates and detail of the Triple-M UK touring event for 2019.
Thanks

Dick,
Can you update us on the EEOTY for 2020 and whether the Register is involved, although it would hardly be classed as a UK Touring event ![](images/icon_smile_big.gif)
