Some more bonnet hinge numbers.
My Magna bonnet F0266. Number just discernible, no mention of colour code (car was two tone green when made.)

J2 bonnet I hope to use on J3112

P type bonnet lying around my sous-sol, acquired years ago, no colour mentioned. (Noticed there are a PA and a PB in the register with this number!)

And finally another F type bonnet, letter C(?) after the number.

My PA 2032 has just 2032 stamped on the hinge. It's build record states blue as the colour and the only trace of original colour I have, from the rear panel of the body, could be either Cerulean or Oxford blue which are similar. I have been assuming that it was Cerulean but could it have been two shades of blue?

Was the colour code discontinued by the time of the N and P models?
No doubt many more people have sent their numbers to Robin's Email, as originally requested, and he may have more information about this. |

You may be right Bob. My PA1052 has the number on the bonnet but no colour code. The car was originally black (according to the register records. |

My PA 0397 has the bonnet number 0697 stamped on the bonnet hinge and I am informed it could be from either PA 0697 or PB 0697 neither of which appear to have survived. No colour code stamping found.

No photo but my bonnet was for 0435 with no colour code. Does either PA or PB 0435 survive Robin?
I don't suppose anyone has the original bonnet for PA 0568? It might fit better than this one!!
In hope,
Dave |

This are the remains of the bonnet-hinge of a K1, which must be one of the earliest converted in the 1960ties to a K3 copy . It was K0377, Engine No.569AKD, Reg.No. MG3093.
