I omitted to mention our own Mike Jakeman, who was one of the VSCC's main local organisers. In between planning the tours etc he also managed to find time to join the lineup on Saturday!

Wot a hood 
It did rain on Friday. However I was in a pub having my lunch and the PA hood was up when the torrential rain drowned many of the treasure hunt participants and flooded some of their cars. So the wise erected their hoods at the appropriate time.  The others got very wet.

And here's another hood!
Roger and Russell Thomas about to start the Acorn Rally on Wednesday. A wise precaution at the start because the map was a special print of the 1920s OS Survey. Weather improved during the day, so no doubt the hood was lowered...
