It will be a long time before I get a chance to enjoy an image like this in my rear view mirror again.

Yes, that's Howard Maguire's K3 behind you. I got to overtake two K3s in my J2 on my way to Conway Square . I'll not get the chance to do that again in a hurry.

It would be great to see a few more pictures of this superb event posted - perhaps in the events pictures section - to see for all who couldnīt attend what they missed - I wish I could have taken part - retirement helps a lot...;;))

Hi Christian,
We missed you in Ulster but we'll have some photos hopefully this weekend to share with everyone. In the meantime, JOhn Emmett has kindly let me share these photos with everyone - https://1drv.ms/f/s!AuXbEglE-QFZg-48WmPhJTjvU1_hJQ

Our Tour photographer, Fred Kullas, delivered a DVD to me today with over 500 photos of the Ulster Tour on it. I've made them available by weblink to the Tour participants and will make a selection of them available in the Pictures>Events section of the Register webiste in due course. But I thought I'd share this photo of Bob and Beth Walker in their F1 Magna at the Dark Hedges with everyone as it is one of my favourites.

What a great photo; it looks as though all the other MMM's have disappeared into the mist leaving Bob and Beth as the only survivors.
Of course the Dark Hedges were only one of the many interesting items that Simon and Sandra put together for this superb event. Everything was superbly organised with an impeccable road book which in itself must have taken a huge amount of time in planning and checking the routes. The eclectic mix of cars present must have given much pleasure to all who saw them including the participants in the event. I'm sure that many of us for whom this was a first visit to NI will be returning to explore more of the country to which we have been introduced.
Thank you Simon and Sandra for a wonderful visit and especially for organising the chance not only to see the many historical motor sport venues, but enableing some of us to take part in the Cultra hillclimd at a very modest fee.

I thought that people might like to know that during the run-up to yesterday's committee meeting it was enthusiastically agreed that the Register's John Kidder Trophy for 2016 should be awarded to Simon Johnston for the fantastic job he has done in organising the Ulster tour.
Congrats to Simon!

Many thanks indeed from Team Johnston for this honour. I do hope it's not premature since we're only half way through the year, but it's very much appreciated - thank you.
